Complaint Review: IP-online Health Green Tea 500 ColonCure

My daughter received an unsolicited trial sample of "Coloncure" and "Green Tea 500" mailed from Florida on 9/30/08. On Oct. 14, $89.31 was deducted from her bank account under the heading "Purchase IP-Online Health."

I reopened the package and read the fine print on the "trial" enclosure. It states that $89.31 will be charged to her credit card every 31 days unless the company is contacted at 1-877-350-8480. Surprise! No one answers the phone. Also, my daughter does not have a credit card. The money is being deducted directly from her bank account and we have no idea how IP-Online Health gained this information.

My daughter has cancelled her ATM card and contacted the fraud department of Wachovia bank. Still, I can see from other postings that this has been happening to other people for some months now.
