I had mistakenly used iPatch Leeds many times to have my iphone 4 screen repaired, the reason I chose ipatch is andy convinced me only he used genuine screens in leeds. Ipatch lied to me about the use of genuine apple parts, and were just using that as an excuse to charge me a premium when in actual fact they are using the same mass produced junk screen the market down the road uses.
Had I known Apple would have swapped my iphone 4 for a new iphone at a cost of £120 I would have done that or used one of the many cheaper out of town services. iPatch preys on oblivious customers and lies about their parts to make a sale.
I had heard of ipatch through a friend, originally to turn my white iphone 4s into a black one they only charged me £45 for the swap because they kepy my genuine apple screen, and put the duff one in which is worth less than my genuine black screen, they should have had to pay me for the swap over as I was giving them what they cant buy. Not surprisingly the screen broke within one drop as it was made of cheap glass.
stupidly I used iPatch Leeds on many occasions to get my screen fixed, because it was breaking so easily. Then I found out from another shop that iPatch was fitting a fake cheap screen and thats why it was breaking so easily. To say I am pissed off in an understatement, I was given the old cheap screen back so I can take it up with trading standards. The other shop said they have had many people complain about ipatches fake screens and they are helping them all go through trading standards to force ipatch to buy them new phones. Ipatch will be hearing from my solicitor soon. The other shop will be my expert witness on the subject.
The most terrible thing about these crooks is they slander the other shop just next to them for the same thing they are doing, fitting junk screens in peoples phones.
iPAtch also write their own reviews on google places forum, every one of their reviews was written by them under the name a google user, these slime should be exposed for everyone to see. You cannot get more sleazy than lying about genuine screens charging twice as much, and writing fake tesimonials.
