If you are reading this report and considering using iPayment or any Merchant Account that uses iPayment (also First Data of Omaha) as a processor, DON'T DO IT! This company is truly the worst. We attempted to transfer our rather large merchant account to a third party reseller that used iPayment.

After only a few days of processing our account was frozen for "suspected fraud" even though we had no change whatsoever in our monthly billing patterns. The group responsible for unfreezing the account was completely unresponsive from the staff up through the supervisors. They did not return repeated calls and when you were able to reach them they were rude and apathetic.

After attempting to resolve the problem for multiple days we ended up having to transfer back to our previous processor.

It has now been well over a week and we have yet to receive our frozen funds.

These people do not care at all about customer service and they are truly incompetent. Even if you believe transferring your merchant account will result in savings, beware as the potential savings become meaningless when you become unable to conduct business.
