I needed bacl porch riailings removed and replaced, and a ramp for my dog. I was reveived the Estimate ( a week after if was promised) and agreed to work and price. Mr. Blake told me that with my dpeosit he could get wpork done in about 2 weeks, he would put me on the shcedule. I did not hear from him within the 2 weeks, so I emailed and asked when the work would be done. He gave a date to me. No one shoed up at my house on that date. I had to contact him again. He selected another date.

 Someone did show up and built  the ramp for my dog - that was all that was done. I had to contact him again and he gave antoher date for the completiotn of the work. Two days before the shceudled date, I called him and told him that if he did not show up on the enxt scheudled date, I am done with him, and he should refund the money owed to me for work not completed. Someone did show up - an hour and a half early, and removed railings from my porch. He asked if he was supposed to remove steps - looked like a big job and he did not drive his truck that day.

I said no, do not remove steps, as I did not trust that anyone would retunr to replace them. He said that Matthew Blake was on his way to pick up lumber right now to finish job.  He said someone would be by later to remove the old ralings form my yard. No one showed up. Matthew Blake did not show up to replace ralings nor did anyone come by to pick up old ralings. I called him and fired him, I told him to refund balance owed to me and pick up oled railings. He said he would be by the next day to get old railings. He did not. I called. him. He said he would do it MOnday. I told him nevermind, he wont show up anyway, I will get it done.

I have not received a refund. He is a liar, rude, irresponsbile, aggresive, and blames me for his shortcomings.

Check with others, civil suits filed against him.   Didn'tven show up in court. Class act.

 This review is completely inaccurate and filed by a very unstable former customer. Sometimes the saying the customer is always right is not always the case. The only thing that is remotely accurate in this case is work was delayed because our company got overwhelmed with work and unforeseen delays. We always responded to Mrs. Bensons emails and did our best to complete work. She was given a refund minus work that was already done 3 days after she contacted us that she no longer wanted us to complete work. We have let her know that if there was anything else we could for her to let us know but she does not contact us just goes the route of leaving bad reviews everywhere she can. We have been in business a while and this is the first customer we have had to deal with like this. All we can say is that we regret the job not being able to be completed on time, we have since strives to put systems in place and hire good people to insure this doesn’t happen again. The customer was given a refunded. She is always welcome to contact us directly if she has further issues, her statesments, that we have lied, been rude and aggressive to her are completely untrue. In fact it is quite the opposite, she has been the aggressor, completely rude and will not leave us alone after the matter has been resolved. If you are a contractor reading this I would think twice before doing any work for this person.
