Complaint Review: IPOP

At work, we continue to receive several calls per day from "IPOP".  It is an automated message that says, "Thanks for calling us!" Which we did not do.  If we wait on the line to speak to someone, the line eventually just disconnects itself.  We can count on a call sometime later in the day, again and again.  If we call the number they give (and/or one we've found online), we get a recorded message. If we leave a voicemail, no return call.  I traced IPOP to John Robert Powers Modeling Agency.  A woman answered the phone and said "yes, we're afilliated with IPOP and that "Cheryl", their conventions person would call me back about this issue because she wasn't personally aware of any automated message problems.  I left a message for Cheryl. Haven't heard back yet.  This has to be some kind of scam or rip off because no one is ever available, we keep getting this bogus calls and we're just going around and around with this people.  FYI to others.
