Email was not functioining properly, I was losing emails sending and receiving. I then emailed a priority support ticket and never heard back from company. I then spent over $150 to upgrade my email to an exchange account hoping that would help and it didnt. I called tech support and was speaking to someone that did not have the technical no how to help. We went through step by step process as per the directions online and still no connection. Now after 4 hours on the phone i asked for a full credit for the cost of the service and agent said absoluely but still wanted to get account connected and had a level 3 tech set up the account remotely. After another 30-45 minutes i watched the tech install the software and he did not follow the directions as per the IPOWER online recomendations. I asked him why he didnt follow the directions and he said "Oh I see that is not correct and should be removed from the website".

after all of that the one computer worked and i asked if someone could help the following day so i can set up my employees and other comuters at our second office location and he stated that i would have to call tech support again and they would assist.

I then asked to when i was going to receive the credit on the account, since he was a tech and couldn't finalize the credit he transfered me to his supervisor to do so.

Now im on the phone with the supervisor and the supervisor would not issue me any credit or refund and was adimant and rude about it. I reiterated that i was dealing with the issue for over 4 hours nad i have been a customer of IPOWER for ove 10 YEARS, he did not care and told me it is againt policy to issue any refunds or credits!!!! I was disgusted and hung up.

The following day I arrived at my office and and called tech support again, explained the situation to the new tech and she told me that they would now charge me to hep set up one computer. I asked to speak to another manager and basically they played the hold and waiting game with me for another 2 hours. I then hung up and payed a an outside company to fix their mistakes.

i am now looking to replace my hosting and email company on all 3 of my sites that have been hosted with Ipower for over 10 years.

I strongly recomend if you require email through your domain you stay far away from IPOWER they do not have the appropriate support team to correct their issuesand support their paying customers.

BUYER BEWARE YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!

Were you asking for a full refund?  It's not very clear.

I agree that it was wrong for them to have an incorrect KB article up on how to set up your email but they did get this fixed for you correct?  And you were keeping your service right?  If so why should they refund you?  Yes it would be nice if maybe they gave you a discount for the troubles like a prorated amount for a month of service but they are not obligated to do that.  That is why they have tech support.  If they have to refund people for every time their is a technical issue they probably wouldn't be in business.

Are you frustrated that you were talking with support for such a long time?  Yes and you certainly have the right to.  But does that mean that you deserve reimbursement just because you were inconvenienced even though the issue was fixed?  Again it would have been nice if they did give you something for the inconvenience but they are not required to do so.  This is not a rip off just because you didn't get what you wanted.
