I visted Irena Deresh and her two puppies she had for sale on 2 seperate occaisions and decided to purchase a female French Bulldog. Her home is like a mini zoo, yet maintains it just enough as to not set off too many alarms. Upon settling on my pup, I placed a deposit on what I thought was going to be a healthy femail Pied French Bulldog with papers. She assured me of all these things and answered my questions that I had. Being a first time dog owner, there were things I may have looked over, and if I could do it again I would not deal with this woman ever again.

Upon bringing my pup home, I brought her to a vet and she was disagnosed with a respitory infection, which later was determined to be Kennel Cough. During my trips to the Vet, I also learned that she was administered her shots way too ealry at only 1 month of age!! As a result her immune system wasnt developed ahd she became very sick at such an early age and I had to readminister many of the shots again. After getting over her Kennel Cough, she was diagnosed with worms!! I brought this to her attention and kindly asked her to help cover the costs associtated with my Vet bills, and she declined and shared excuses as to these being common things.

Lastly, it has taken me over 3 months and counting to get her papers from her. She has given me the run around over and over again, with different excuses every time as to why I do not have them, finally asking me, "why do you need the papers anyways?" This is cause for alarm and she is now not returning my phone calls and has left me not knowing what to do. I have even gone to her work to demand my papers!!

In short, Irena Deresh is not a breeder as she led me to beleive. She imports puppies from Europe at a very young age, which stresses them out and doesnt allow for proper weining from the mother. She lies about their health and the papers. I have read over and over again online about people's negative dealings with her, at times people's pets have died, luckily not mine! She is only in it for the money and not the itegrity of the breed. I plan on suing this woman for misrepresenting her puppies, notifying the board of health and animal control. She cannot get away with taking advantage of people and most importantly these poor little puppies!!

Vaccinations for puppies are generally give 3 to 4 weeks apart to 4 to 6 months and then yearly depending on the givers opinion. Why do we give puppies so many sets? In the hopes that their immune system is stable enough to accept one of those sets. Even being properly vaccinated is not a guarantee against disease, it is not 100% effective 100% of the time. Your puppy needed more vaccinations because it was a puppy. Most vets give out a sheet of their preferred schedule for puppy shots when you first bring your puppy in. When you exagerate the small things, it makes people wonder about the rest of it. I am not attacking you, nor defending the seller, but that was a little too much for me. I hope your puppy is over her cold and that you are enjoying your little Frenchie, as I am a fanatic owner/breeder and adore them while being well aware they are definantly not for everyone.
