iris gillon, igmc Way below Par service - did not get what was contracted for Internet
iris gillon and igmc did not deliver acceptable service. Iris is a marketeer par excellence - an unusually good salesperson with an impressive and well-designed website. Don't let these things fool you. My son got married this past weekend and (1) the singer was awful (2) the number of musicians promised did not show up (3) the band leader had no personality whatsoever and though he tried hard to please, could not read the crowd. the band's electricial requirements that iris sent me were all wrong and my electrician, at an enormous additional expense, had to work the night of the party, in the rain, to make sure that there was enough power. also, notice how the rebuttals to the first complaint are from employees. i wonder why that is? I would never, ever recommend using this company.

This complaint is 100% fabricated and a total lie from beginning to end. It was posted by a MOG (Mother of a groom.) I am the band leader from above wedding. My band is UNANIMOUS and I am the cute bald guy on the video singing and playing Sax.http://unanimous.newyorkweddingbands.net - My band has played hundreds of weddings over the years and never has any one of us been treated with as much disrespect and mean spiritedness as we were by this MOG, who we suspect may be emotionally challenged. MOGs comments about our band and Iris are both misleading and untrue from beginning to end. If you read this posting, please contact either me or Iris to confirm the details and the truth as we dont feel this website is a nice or appropriate place for discussions about others where they cannot defend themselves. Hi. Can you contact me if you are willing to? I got married in October and had a terrible experience with Iris and IGMC. She lied to get us into a contract and then kept lying to keep us in it until the last payment... A total bait and switch of the lead vocalist (We had our heart set on the lead vocalist and made a contract around her and were, thanks to Iris, totally destroyed when she didn't show--we followed up about the lead vocalist up to the last payment and were told that the vocalist was good to go...all lies). It was definitely reckless disregard to ensure that she got to keep every cent from us, and I'm not about to let her get away with it (the band manager also wasn't present, so all of our instructions went down the drain)...among other things like cutting out a part of the cocktail hour to booze and subsequently curse at one of my wedding guests... Iris could not have cared less and won't own up to her own actions. I'm not asking for any sort of assistance or cooperation in a lawsuit that I plan on bringing, but I am just curious as to what happened in your case. Thanks.
