IRL Atlanta Magazine Company Charged my account with no authorization, made harassing phone calls trying to get more personal information Norcross, Georgia
Some how this company got a hold of some of my, and my husband's information, including home telephone number, and debit card information. When they charged my debit card some 40 something dollars, I made arrangements with my bank to get it cleared off because it was NOT an authorized charged.
Shortly after the bank began investigating, the company realized I was onto them, so they began mailing things to my address, and calling my house phone 20 times a day. NO REPUTABLE BUSINESS CALLS THAT MANY TIMES! They tried to be sneaky about it and used different numbers (I have Caller ID) and different sounding people, but it was clearly the same company because they had the same pattern to each phone call.
They would ask for my husband, I would say he is not here (he is in the service, that's what kind of scum these people are. They rip off those who fight for their freedom), but I am his wife, and I can answer any question they have for him. They would say it's not necessary and hang up before I can say anything else.
A few times they called, and actually asked me a few questions (clearly the same people) but were clearly only looking for more information to possibly steal my identity. I called them out and said if you looked online, it's posted on the internet that they are a scam, which made them angry and the "supervisor" lost his temper and said he would disconnect the call and continue to charge my card for 20 months. They are arrogant here.
They call from an unlisted number, 626-273-8235 , and a few times from 321-872-3210 . They are super persistent and will call three times in a row (if I don't answer). One of them said if I give them more information, they can put me on their "No Call List."
I told them not to call again or I will call the cops, and in their arrogance, they replied, "The cops can't do nothing" but I filed a report anyway because of course they called again looking for my husband, who is in the service and wont answer the phone no matter how many times they call. This also took place during the Christmas time. Ripping off servicemen and their families and harassing them for Christmas. That's what kind of people they are.
