Exactly what others have said. This company purposefully attempts to mimic the IRS.gov website to get people to apply for an EIN/TIN number and then files it on the "customers" behalf to the IRS.gov. What they do is a 'service" for you when you actually think you are doing it yourself. They charge 150.00 for the "service" when if on the real IRS.gov website it is free. Then when you reply to the email the send you they do not respond back even if you were willing to use them for additional services. First time i have been ripped off like this so i learned a valuable lesson. I hope others don't fall for it. The real website you want is https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/modiein/individual/index.jsp

Kevin here with Register-EIN.com. We do not attempt to mimic the IRS nor any other site or government agency in any way. If you read on our site, you'll see that we fully disclose we are an independent agency and have no affiliation with the IRS. We are merely a company that assists you in obtaining your EIN from the IRS, making a sometimes difficult and confusing process very easy and painless. We do charge for our services and time in these matters. You can of course always contact the IRS directly to obtain your EIN, free of charge.
