It appears that Receiver Corporation is now executing the same SCAM in Chicago under a different name - ISCS corporation. They called me out of the blue to interview with the company. When I did it was in a room with 9 other people of different areas of speciality. The first "interview" was very focused on selling the company and then outlining their hiring process.

They said that they are "screening" 3,000 candidates for 50 open positions. After some "personality" tests they said that they would be calling about 300 people for acceptance into their training program which costs them $780 - so if you are accepted, they are serious about giving you a job. When I asked relevant questions about the company (such as where do the revenues come from), the person conducting the interview was clearly shaken and unable to answer.

2 weeks later I was called with the good news about my acceptance into their program and that I should come in for a 1 on 1 interview. When I spoke with their "employment development manager" he explained that they are offering me a job - all I need to do is complete their training program.

However, I would need to put up $450 in earnest money for the training (which consisted of 4 weeks of MS PowerPoint and web development implemented as on line classes). You see, they had many candidates in the past who signed up for the training and did not complete it which cost them a lot of money. They $450 would be refunded when I completed the training. They gave me this policy in writing - so they must be legit ;-)

Note: I did not sign up for the training or pay the $450, so there is a small chance that they are an honest business, however there is NO reference to them on the net at all! They have supposedly been in business since 1986 doing web development for companies. Their web site looks exactly like Receiver Corporation www.receivercorporation.com listed in a similar report- check them both out - www.iscscorporation.com and decide for yourself. It would appear that these guys keep perpetrating the same scam under different names.
BEWARE!
