Falling into the trap of what seem to be a great outdoor item was the first of several nightmares to come. My wife and I purchased a display model of the Boomerang grill from Islander which cost us $300 just to drop it off after the fair was to end. The grill came with no ignition switch and no tubing for the propane attachment. We had also purchased 6 swivel chairs and were told that the seat cushions were on backorder. We never received the seat cushions.

I made several attempts to calling about our backorder and complaining about the switch, etc., but, never a response. I only found another company with a similar name (Islander bbq) but with no affiliations. The grill was set up on a credit account with GE Money Bank with a greater amount than what was originally agreed upon. I finally contacted the credit company and disputed the matter. I yet to see how it turns out.

Meantime, I had to set-up the grill for propane use and manually ignite it whenever I want to use it. Atleast I got the grill/island. Was it worth the price? With all the phone call attempts and not receiving the promised items....No way!!
