Do not do business with the man. His tactic is to get various real estate projects under contract, then find investors to put in almost all the money or equity to close the deal. He promises quick payback and large returns on the investment.
He then starts some minor demo or rehab with his cohort contractors and walks from the project. Leaving the investors hanging in the wind with a worthless property. He syphons the money form the subject property and uses it for personal use or pay-off prior investors.
He is super nice and personable. X-NFL player. Don't be fooled. He is a predator.
