With It’s Just Lunch (IJL) those that I know of payed from $2,000 to $2,800 for four hand-selected ‘lunch dates’ over four months. The payment may be different depending upon what they think you can afford. I paid $2,500. Some women I know paid $2,200. Some $2,800 for four dates, and they may charge others less money or more money.

The first date was with a retired airline pilot. I discovered he’d already had 12 ‘dates’ and when I inquired that it must be expensive for him, he said he paid nothing. In other words, a shill.

I paid for my lunch and declined to give him my phone number as he wasn’t terribly interesting and said stupid things like it was nice I wasn’t fat as most of IJL’s women were fat.

The second date was an entrepreneur. A fast-talking little guy (no problem there as I’m short) but I’ve gone to Harvard, University of Michigan and Oxford among others and he didn’t go to college. Okay, no big deal. I then discovered he’d had 20 ‘dates.’  And he paid nothing. He said he was just in it for lunch with women. Another shill. He asked for my phone number, kindly paid for my lunch, but not for me.

Third date was also an unpaying rather dull shill who paid nothing to join IJL and he's had dozens of 'dates"

The fourth date was a real date who paid to join but said he was in love with someone else, which happens.  At least he was real and qualified.

When I complained to IJL about so much money for three ‘standby’ shills who pay nothing, I was really yelled at with “You didn’t read the fine print, “You are too demanding, “You have to pay attention to contracts you sign, “We have every right to do what we did, and so on. Wow. So different when signing up.  Soon a nicer person contacted me and said I really wasn’t owed three real dates because of their contract which I’d signed (It’s long).  A real rip-off company in my opinion.  They are very good at selling their services but do a poor job of finding proper dates for paying clients. Women are especially at risk.
