Italian Leather Jacket Scam can be found all over the internet. Gentleman in SUV looking for directions to the Airport identifies himself as an Italian on his way back home. He stops to ask for information in public gas stations and says he would reward you by giving you designer jackets designed for Armani. His excuse is that he cannot take the jackets back home due to being taxed. After you have taken the hook, he says he requests that you give him a gift to take back to his daughter in Italy. He requests an iphone or cash. He tries to bet at least $500.00 from you. The jackets he is pedling do not cost more that $5.00 a piece on ebay. They are not real leather or suede.
