First let me say that I am not finished with my Degree here yet.

If there is any type of class action going to happen count me in.

Ok, I read another report on here about how they enroll you and how easy it seemed to get. I went just to view the campus and check out the school which seemed nice, and before I knew it I was a student haha this seemed a bit strange to me also. I took the entrance exam which any moron could pass( it was almost laughable) anyways, my first quarter classes were a joke and I wont lie I did learn some stuff from my teachers.

This particular ITT in Woburn Ma has some decent teachers so I dont blaim them in any way, most were gone after one quarter and I would never see them again. One told us because they pay the teaches crap and dont treat them very well. My main issue is with the whole setup.

Like I read from many other students and ex students on here, they seem to be all about the money/company and it is very easy to skate through this school with honors. They squish as much of the information into the allowed time as they can and expect us to be able to understand...how can I learn Trig and Calc when I have never seen it before in 1 quarters time.

Never mind the fact that the school seems to me to be best suited for the unemployed. I am 30 and work fulltime to pay bills at 5am every morning and I get out at 5 pm and have class at 5:45pm lol where do they want me to find time to be able to get toutoring which they offer its just that its held on a Friday during the day or 1 hour before class which I cant do because I work.

Now once again, this is 40,000 I am spending and watching kids who know nothing and take bone breaks in the parking lot get A's lol (no joke). The materials are also scarce, I needed a hard drive once for a class and 3 weeks into the class I was behind...I go see the assistant dean and he says sorry, I cant help you...wait wait wait, your the assistant dean and cant get me a HD? 40,000 from each of us students and I cant get a freaking hard drive. I was forced to drop that class(which I still had to pay for) cuz of him.

The books are a joke also most read like you are a 12 year system admin, Some classes the teachers told us we wont use the book much just because the teachers know they are a joke also.

Some of the teachers there are very smart, this ITT really I don't know where or how ITT got them but that is at least one different point from most of the rest of the bad reports on ITT. Even having great teachers there is still reasons for me to come here and voice what I think about them.

I asked around some of the colleges around here and you all know in the Boston area we have some great ones....most laughed when I asked about transferring credits and some just kinda brushed me off.

Job Placement....Ha, I went through these guys too... and like most other people saying about McDonald. Well at least they didn't offer us that lol but they did offer UPS at 8.00 bucks an hour...for Tech kids with an associates from there own school and they think a 30 year old guy can pay bills on 8 bucks an hour in Massachusetts hahahahahahahaha I would be a bum on the streets.

All in All this place is a joke, for people with no good high school grades and people from poor backgrounds tricking us into thinking that we are going to be top techs in a sweet career...only thing we will end up with is an 8 dollar an hour UPS job and a 65,000 school bill.....If you want to succeed in the IT field ..learn it on your own they didn't teach me anything I couldn't of done alone.

I do realize that some people may have been frustrated with ITT, but I graduated top of my class and have an excellent job making twice as much as I make. People that go to ITT and do not realize the tuition costs, are undereducated in my mind. That is like going out and buying a car and not knowing the terms and conditions of your loans. I was lucky enough to have the GI Bill cover my costs. I know am very successful making 75,000 a year. I enjoyed my time at the school, and the benefits I have received from it. I would highly recommend ITT, for a four year degree not a two year degree.

They got me too. The school was awful and I learned very little that I hadn't already taught myself! Graduated in 2008 and I still have no job to show for it. Luckily my parents payed off the 40,000, but it won't happen again. Looks like I have to get Financial Aid for a real University. Definitely interested in a class action lawsuit if one comes about.
