In June of this year I saw an early morning infomercial about ITV Ventures business opportunity. It sounded great, I could come into the business at the highest level and receive phone calls on the products they advertise on their infomercials, get paid a commission on them plus if I recruited someone else into the business, would start receiving a percentage from what they made.

They promised support, training and a mentor to help me become successful. I signed up online and was hoping to get a mentor quickly so I could get started. I sent email after email to support requesting that I be assigned a mentor. Finally a month an a half later I received a phone call from a person who I will not name telling me she was my mentor. Finally, I thought I would be on my way to making money.

While I was waiting to get a mentor, I went to the training site and printed out all of the scripts we were to use when talking to customers about the various products, watched all of the infomercials on those products so I would be well informed, passed all the tests on the informercials and was sincere in wanting to make the business work for me.

About 10 days after I was contacted by the person who was supposed to be my mentor, she was trying to get me involved in a completely different business. I had been in MLM before and knew very well that one thing you never do is try to steal people from the business you are in to go to another.

I was dismayed and wanted someone who really believed in this business as a mentor. I contacted my mentor's upline and he said he was going to New York for a big ITV Ventures meeting but when he got back he would start working with me. Another month went by and finally after emailing him and leaving messages on his recorder he returned my call.

I was upset to learn that as of October 1, ITV Ventures would no longer be in existance. They were starting a new business called EVS and the whole program and pay plan was different. He was upset as well since he had spent 3 years trying to build up his business.

I was even more upset to think I had spent $627 for nothing, not to mention the $100 per month of product I had to buy and $29 a month for training(what a joke) and now they are going out of business and I hadn't even had a chance to get started.

I sent an email to support telling them that I wanted a refund of the $627.00 I paid to join and would be returning the training kit to them. I received an email back that said after 30 days we do not refund. I then sent a certified letter to them and received an email back telling me where to send the kit, which I have done.

They still have not credited back my credit card and there was also another charge for $120.00 that should have been credited as well since I sent that product back and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I received a temporary credit for the $120 but ITV called them back and said the charge was good and I owed them the money. So I am still fighting that!

ITV Ventures, EVS, Donald Barrett=Ripoff! Don't Throw your money away on anything they try to sell you!
