Complaint Review: Iverson Ford Sales

Iverson Ford Sales giving me the run around on vehicle part in which they have had my vehicle for 2 weeks ripoff Billerica Massachusetts

I brought my vehicle to Iverson Ford Sales on 5/12/04 for a problem in which I was told by Ford direct that it was covered under warranty due to the extended warranty I purchased. I was told by Iverson Ford it was the parts were not covered under warranty and it would cost approx. $1000.00. The part was about $200.00 and the rest was 10 hours of labor in which they had to take the engine out in order to fix the problem.

So I went along with fixing the problem and paying the $1000.00 to fix the vehicle because if not the engine could blow if I did not get fixed soon.I then rented a vehicle from the company I work for which cost me $30.00 a day thinking it would only be a couple of days. Iverson Ford told me they should have the vehicle ready on 5/14/04.

When I called on 5/14/04 they told me they did not have anyone available that was mechanically inclined to do this type of work and that it would be a couple of more days. I called Iverson Ford back on 5/19/04 and they told me some of the parts were missing from the order. Explained to them how I was paying for a car and if I knew that it would be this long I would of got my vehicle and used until they were able to work on it.

Finally the service manager said he would put me in a vehicle which they would pay for but I still had to pay $10.00 a day to drive the rental incase any accident occurred it would go through my insurance instead of paying the damages, in which they told me the vehicle would be ready on 5/21/04. I then called Iverson Ford on 5/21/04 and now parts were missing to fix the vehicle.

I feel like they have been dishonest the whole time. The date today is 5/25/04 and they still have not started working on the vehicle due the parts still have not been sent. They also told me that the parts were being priority on 5/19/04. If you could please help me try to rectify this problem. I feel as though I am being ripped off due to waiting for their mistake on parts.
