Complaint Review: Ivory White

Ivory white recieved my credit card # from the website i was on before, they linked me to ivorywhite, and i recieved an email saying they were charging me postage and sending me a free trial! I called them to cancel, and they informed me it could not be cancelled, it had to be shipped once ordered. I told them i didnt authorize them to ship it to me..and i was very rudely told to wait until i got it, then i could cancel it. I called back the next day hoping for a better response, and i was told it had already shipped, if i would have called sooner i could have cancelled it.

i was to recieve the package, call in before my trial ended and get a # to send the box back with. Otherwise i would be charged the full amount (80.00)because they had sent the whole months supply in with the trial (conviently!) I called my bank the same day and they told me it was fraud, and i was to cancel my card, dispute charges, and refuse the package at the postoffice. I also had 8 other unrelated charges that were just showing up on my card. So, i did that.

After i refused the package at the postoffice, i called in to ivory white to let them know i was cancelling -per prior conversation-and they let me know i was cancelled, they had recieved the package, however, I still owed the full amount because i was not in compliance with the agreement-which i had not agreed to in the first place. I asked her what we could do....she told me she could reship the package to me, and i could re-return it the correct way...ie...i could give her my new credit card #, and they could bill me again for shipping, and probably for the whole package this time. These people are Mean, and i feel have very bad business practices! WATCH OUT!
