Ivy's Transmission

On 8-25-08 my wife and I brought our 2000 GMC Jimmy to Ivy's Transmission 416 E. Baseline Rd. in Mesa because the service engine light was on Sabino Gonzalez aka: Sal. stated he would rebuild the transmission and this would solve the problem with the light at this point the transmission worked ok without any problems he stated it would take 2 3 days. 10 days latter on 9-5-08 we got the vehicle back. Within 3 days the truck would not engage in reverse for several seconds and when on the freeway the transmission would slip once in awhile. We contacted Sal and he said bring it back and he would take care of it so we did, he claimed to replace the drums however I thought we paid for a rebuilt transmission when we first brought it to him but I did not make a fuss since he claimed this took care of the problem this took another 8 days. A week latter the same thing the truck would not go in revere right away the transmission would slip on the freeway called several times with no answer so we went there and no one was there but there was a sign on window stating they were gone for the week and would be back on Monday while driving home on the freeway the truck dies and we have it towed. Had it towed to Ivy's on Monday Oct. 27 and we discovered the wiring harness had fallen down in to the 4 wheel drive, drive shaft and ripped all the wiring out Sal said he had nothing to do with it and these wires went to the fuel pump and tail lights and he charged us $516.10 to replace the wiring harness all research I have done clearly shows these wires going to the transmission and then he refused to pay the towing fees. He claimed that there is nothing wrong with the transmission it worked fine for him .Finished working on it 11 days later on Nov. 5th when leaving the parking lot at Ivy's I noticed right away that the gas gage did not work and the Service Engine Light was on after he replaced the wiring harness and when I drove on the freeway the transmission was slipping, parked at the store put the car in reverse it sat for a while before it would move. We are not taking it back to Ivy's transmission we will start over somewhere else . This Guy is a Rip Off Artist and needs to be stopped before too many more people get taken like we did. After doing research on this company I found out they are operating with the Arizona Corporation Commission as SLG Automotive, Inc. and are not even a legal corporation they have not filed annual reports and are not in good standing with the Arizona Corporation Commission .
We are not asking for anything we just want Mr. Gonzalas exposed for what he is a rip off. This guy is a very slick talker and knows just what to say and how to say it.

Total amount this fraudulent company stole from us is
$1339.00 original amount for transmission rebuild
$240.00 Towing
$510.00 wiring harness
Total amount $2089.00
