Complaint Review: J B Hunt Transport Inc.

I was stupid to pay for Hunt's Final Mile installation on a washer-dryer.  They managed to twist hoses and vents in such a way that more than half of my laundry room is taken up with washer-dryer.  They then took away the shipping braces that the installation manual says are supposed to be left with the machine.  The installation manual also required an additional natural gas regulator put on the dryer, but Hunt didn't care.  The rubber hoses for water hook-up were waaay short, but the installers refused to install longer stainless braided water hoses that I had available.

So now I have a giant piece of equipment that Hunt claims was "installed right" but was not installed the way the manufacturer says to install.  Hunt also claims that the shipping braces are trash per Hunt's policy so I just need to buy new ones.

The people I dealt with are located in Houston and Lowell.  They SAY they will make it right, follow up, etc, and they will claim they talked to you or did things they have not, just so they can make their corporate records look good.

Meanwhile, I spent a lot buying the parts that should have been used on this kluge of an install and will have to hire someone to reinstall this washer-dryer. 

Don't waste your time or money on a JB Hunt install.  They don't know what they are doing and are VERY combative when you don't kiss their behinds.
