I was sent a letter saying I won $39,000 in a Consumer's Reward Program. It was a lottery that was held on May16, 2008. It had a real check for $3,950.00 included for taxes that I needed to pay on the money. I called the number and a woman named Michelle answered the phone and said I won in the second category and that I needed to put the check in my bank and when it clears, I need to call her back and she would then contact an agent in my area with whom I will pay the $3,950.00 in taxes.

Once I pay the taxes, I will be sent the rest of my reward money through UPS within forty eight hours. I put the check in my bank last week, and my bank put a five day hold on it. I started looking up the company today and found this website and all the entries about this company being a scam. I called my bank, and the lady said that it was most likey a scam and put another three week hold on the money because just because it clears the bank does not mean that it won't bounce a couple of weeks from now.

She said that if I would have taken the money out once the check clears, that I would probably never recieve any other money and the check would bpounce later and I would owe the bank almost four grand! I am so mad because I really thought for once in my life I had actually won something and I would be able to pay some of my bills and buy my kids pretty school clothes. Finding this out let me and my whole family down.
