Complaint Review: J C Financials

I received a letter from J C Financials stating I had won a lottery from Consumer's Reward Program.
The winning amount was $39000 and enclosed was a check for $3900 to pay the taxes.

The check looked real, but the letter looked like it was written at different times with different fonts, etc.
I went on the internet and looked these people up and sure enough it was a scam!

I'm tired of these scams on my computer, or letters mailed to me! How do these people get away with writing these bogus checks? It looked real, so you know someone has cashed or deposited one.
It seems to me someone has to be held accountable!
