Complaint Review: J. C. Morris and Company (aka Todd Short)

I, too, have been victimized by J. C. Morris and Company. It's hard to tell whether this company (which, apparently, is one Mr. Todd Short and no one else) actually intended to take consumers' money in exchange for nothing, or actually fell upon a difficult situation and was forced to declare bankruptcy.

The reason for this is that Mr. Short promises again and again to provide information and updates on the status of his business, but he fails (at least in my case) to keep his promises. He impresses me as having the "victim" mentality and appears not to recognize that his actions have made victims of hundreds of unsuspecting consumers, like myself.

He seems only focused upon himself. This, in criminal psychology, is a classic profile of a criminal mind. "It's not my fault! Everyone else is to blame!" (These are my impressions, based on 6 months of being misled by Mr. Short.)

If anyone knows of an organized effort by victims of J. C. Morris and Co. to keep pressure on the law to help us recoup our misbegotten funds, please contact me. It would seem that the laws of this land, once again, favor the perpetrators of misdeeds and that we will have to "go it alone".
