Complaint Review: J. D. Buyrider

I bought a 96 mercury mistique from j. d. buyrider. At first everything was going good. About 3 months after I bought it the transmission went. It was covered under my warrenty, so they fixed it for me. After getting my car back I noticed that it was driving very sluggish. I took it back, and they said that they counldn't find anything wrong with it. Then a little while later tha check engine light came on , and I couldn't get it to go off. I took it back again. They said that they couldn' d find that reason why that was on either.

I was only 18 years old with a car that I owed 4000 dollars on. I needed the car to get me back and forth on my 50 mile commute to work, daycare for my daughter, and school. I ended up taking the car back to them. They threatened to take me to court, but instead that put a 4000 dollar repossesion on my credit.
Now I can't get a car loan to save my life. I refuse to pay them.

They couldn't even fix my car that was still under warrenty. The warrenty would have been voild if I had taken it somwhere else. The car was only 4 years old when I bought it. I couldn't do the lemon law beacuse it had high milage.
I regret having bought anything from them.
