My Mother thought she was purchasing hearing aids, which at 70 years old is something that is needed, at least in her case. She has an income of $847.00 per month and lives alone. Why are companies allowed to continue to do this ? They are scum of the Earth ! I hope they loose their hearing and go blind.....serves them right... you know, Karma.......

No, I don't represent any credit card company... I am merely a consumer that has NOT gotten ripped off, yet. I also ordered the hearing aid on Aug 18, 2002 and have not received the product. BUT, I put the charge on my credit card and BY FEDERAL LAW the company is required to deliver the product within a certain timeframe (I don't know if it is the same day as the charge or before the charge is incurred). This protects the consumer from being charged and the company keeping the money indefinitely to their advantage.
I have not been charged for the item as of yet and it has been almost 60 days since my order was placed.
