Complaint Review: J. D. Marvel Products Inc.

I ordered two pair of moccasins from an ad in a newspaper. Sent them my check, watched it clear the bank and waited for the moccasins. And waited. And waited.

Finally received a pair of ugly brown plastic boots and a promise that the other pair of moccasins would be shipped by 9/12/02. I returned, in good faith again, the boots, along with a claim for the postage. And waited. And waited. And waited again!

On Oct. 7, 2002 I got through to the company and was advised that both pairs of moccisins would be shipped by 10/11/02 and my postage refund was also being processed.

Well...today, 10/24, nothing! Their phone message simply says "goodbye" after holding for 15 minutes. Their web site is gone. Thought this was a reputable company...NEVER AGAIN!
