J. D. Marvel Products Inc. ripoff fraud mail order business Hawkesbury Ontario
Two months ago, I placed an order with J.D. Marvel Products for a ClearVue Super Booster TV/FM antenna to put on my daughter's TV, as there can't be a cable installation in her room.
The product ad claimed to be just what we needed, so I prepared my cheque for the purchase amount plus the $7.75 shipping and handling fee, and waited patiently for the order to come.
The order sheet indicated 2 - 5 weeks for delivery, my cheque promptly cleared my bank within a week, but it has now been over 10 weeks since then. What showed up instead was another of J.D. Marvel's little mail order catalogues, complete with a personalized sticker for me to affix to my next order!!
How insulting to realize they think I will be stupid enough to send them more money! J.D. Marvel Products' catelogues and coupons show up frequently in my junk mail, and regretfully, I have finally sucked in and placed an order.
I acted in good faith, and subsequently got screwed. Please help stop these thieves from continuing their fraudulent business.
