Complaint Review: J.D. Marvel Products Inc.

On Dec. 9, 2002, I sent a check for $17.90 to J. D. Marvel for one pair of Nordic style winter boots. The check cleared my bank, but I have never received either the boots or a refund.

I sent an e-mail to the address listed on the company's web site, but I have never received a response of any kind.

I have just received a copy of the company's mail-order catalog, which lists the same boots I ordered and never received. This means they are advertising an item four months after I ordered it, which means they cannot say the item is discontinued or out of stock.

This company is a rip-off company, which is another word for thief.

Can't the Postal Inspectors do something about this?
