J.E. HAMMER & SOHNE aka JHS RIPPED OFF FORMER EMPLOYEE OF HER LAST PAYCHECK AND REFUSES TO SPEAK TO HER New York New York
J.E. Hammer & Sohne aka JHS ripped me off big time! They put a stop payment on my last paycheck. October 15, 2002 was my last day and I collected my paycheck. I deposited it like normal into my account. On October 25, I received a statement from my bank that there was a stop payment on my last paycheck.
On the very day that I received the bank statement, I called them. The first five times, I was hung up on. At one time the low down rat owner Biresh Patel even got on the phone and kept saying hello six or seven times, pretending he could not hear me.
On the sixth try, I got to speak with the office/accounting Manager and I demanded they pay me for services I already provided. He said I no longer work for the company. I said I know , but I already worked for the hours they put the stop payment on. He then said he could not talk because he is very busy and hung up on me.
I have attempted to call two other times and have been hung up on.

I accepted a position to work for this small town business as manager. Within two months I quit on them two times and was asked to stay.
The owner yelled and cursed and believed she was above the law.
When I quit the third time they threatened me and said there would be repercutions. Well besides the lies they have began spreading, I now do not get my last paycheck.

This company even does business with such MAJOR names as JC PENNEY, ZALE CORPORATION and FINLAY! YEt, when I call to have them pay me, they are running like little sniveling cockroaches. Vendors, customers BEWARE!! IF you cross their path this is how they might treat you!
