Complaint Review: J & M Paint and Body

 Jimmy Reed is a lying con-artist! The timing belt broke in my mother's station wagon when I was going to the recycler, and someone recommended him when I got the parts. He told me that I had to pay $700 upfront before he would do anything but said that Zi could give him the scrap metal that was in the car for a discount. Then he said that he waited too long to take the metal off so there wasn't enough money made to make any debt in the cost of fixing the timing belt. I paid him all $700 and then he said it would be two weeks. Then two weeks later, he said it would be another week because the fuel rails broke in it and he said he would replace at no charge. Then a week later, he said that he had not had the chance to get the fuel rails and it would be another week. Then I had someone ride by and the car was nowhere to be found. They went by his lot in Wjbdsor and the car was not there, either. Then we talked to one of his guys that quit and that guy revealed that Jimmy had junked the car. So, he screwed my mother out of a car, that she wants to be paid $900 for, and he screwed me out of $700, and scrap metal.
