Complaint Review: J Mac Radiator Salt Lake City

J Mac Radiator Salt Lake City Installed a radiator and hose, never fixed the real problem, wanted more money and then held the car when I wanted it towed to another company Salt Lake City Utah

I took a SUV to JMac Radiators. We told the mechanic to please check the entire cooling system and make sure all it needed was the radiator. They said they did the service and charged $420.00, said it was good to go. 

Two days later the car was steaming again. took the car back to JMac, they said it needed a new hose...hmmmm...had them replace the hose. 

One day later same problem, took the car back and they said it needed a connection between the water pump and the engine and maybe more hoses. They wanted $469.00 this time. We wanted to move the vehicle to another shop sent a tow truck to have it towed to the new mechanic who was going to do the work for around $250.00. JMac refused to release the vehicle and demanded $96 to release it. 

I will NEVER take my vehicle to them or recommend them to anyone else. Very embarrassing situation and a terrible way to do business.
