Complaint Review: J&R Music World

I bought a Fuji Camera order # 691241030 from J&R Music World in early August 2006 by internet for $139.99. It included a rebate of $40. Per J&R instruction, I submitted the rebate to their Rebate HQ in early August 2006. It was acknowledged by HQ REbate.com with a rebate tracking #199893328. Based on J&R advertisement, I was supposed to receive the rebate in 8 weeks.

So far after more than 20 weeks, I still have note received the check. I contacted their manager and customer reps via email and phone many times. They never responded I also contacted Fuji Camera. Fuji Camera advised me that it was J@R executed rebate which had nothing to do with Fuji Camera.

Finally I was contacted by J&R Manager Grace Magris. However, she still insisted that it was Fuji Rebate even though I sent her Fuji Camera Co email which denied Fuji invovement. She refereed me back to their HQ Rebate.com and gave me a number to call. But, the number is not valid and HQ REbate .com does not accept email.
