I had taken my car in to have them install speakers and re- route my C.D. remote wire. They said it would be dont at 11:30am, they said that they would call when it was ready. I was running late, that day my 5 year old daughter got out of school at 1:05pm, Well I got there around 1:00pm. So I was in a rush to go across town to pick up my daughter. I sent my husband in to pay for the speakers and re-routing. I had listened to the speakers they sounded fine. Yet they had to come back out to put black tape on some exposed wires that I had told them about in the beginning to fix.

On my way to the school I had noticed my dash was scratched up and had crackes. I called them immeadiatly on my cell phone to tell them about this. I said after I get my daughter I'm going back there to show you what I mean. I was back there less than a half of an hour. I talked to "J", He was immediatly on the defensive. He says this looks like crayon marks. (which was white with a streak of blue) I stated my kids do not have crayons in the car. I dont allow that because of the sun. My kids are old enough that they dont write on anything other than paper.(my kids are 14,10 &5) The blue in the marking is the same color as the drill that they use.

Well as we argued they came out with the tools that they use, a drill and 2 small hand tools. My 14 year old stated "Are you sure thats all the tools you use". "J" came off on him saying "So now your an expert huh". Well to make this short, they deny any wrong doing.

The installer just standed there with his mouth closed letting the owner talk. I know that that damage wasn't there that morning.. It cost $50.00 to spot fix it, which it will be easly pron to damage in that spot. Or $853.00 for a new dash not including install.

My husband went the next day and stated "Let's be business men and professional about it", "because the damage was done here". J stated that "If your wife didn't have an attitude about it I would have setteled it with her.. All he was doing is saying well you could have done it, It looks like sun damage. Your kids done it, ect. My husband owns a "CAR LOT" so It not that we can't afford to fix it. I could easly put a dash cover on it, But its the principle. HELP..
