I too, got bungholed into buying what I thought (and is) a good product,but the telemarketers told me the same thing,about if I wanted a refurbished one..How the heck can it be refurbished, if it has a life time warranty? No, I want a brand new,unused one..they then asked me if I wanted a stand for the juicer and recipe books..I told them I wanted the recipe books (which were to be "free") but didnt want the stand, which was an extra $29.95 plus shipping and handling, of course..

well, I got the unit, and it is great! I bought it about 5 years ago and it is still serving the purpose..however, my credit card was charged the extra $29.95 for the stand, but I thought, the hell with it, I will pay it cuz I didnt want to deal with the people that could hardly speak english, and get it all messed up with my credit card in tow..Jack and Elaine LaLane really ought to go with a different marketing group. I wish I had his personal Email too, and I would want him to try and order one, to see what hell we have to deal with.
