Bad Business-Bad Food 

Friday April 1, 2011 I placed an order to Jacos Pizzeria at 8:30pm.  Half tray Cheese & 25 Honey Garlic WingsI was advised that the order would be sent right out.  I received my order 2 hours later @10:30pm.  I opened my order only to realize that the pizza was cold and the wings were suicideflaming Hot???  I called back at 10:33pm and advised the women that they sent out the wrong order, she placed me on hold for 12 minutes came back and said your order is on its way.  I waited patiently for the orderit never arrived. 12:15am I called back to Jacos and inquired about my order Rob stated we can get that right out to you.  I explained, if the order hadnt left already; Im not interested in receiving it and immediately requested a refund.  Rob was very rudehe stated nastily your not getting a refundwe dont give refunds!  I asked to speak with a manager or owner...he denied my request and was adamant about not extending a refund.  He said that the owner gets in at 1:00am; he will make sure he returns my phone call.  Needless to say 1:00am came and past without any contact.
 
Basis business 101: When your establishment screws up, do whatever in your power to fix it.  Word of mouth could make or break a business.x10 Rule.  The only thing Jacos delivered to me is a message that I received loud and clearMy business is not appreciated.  My message to Jacos (Robert Nye) is this: Lost one great customer and I assure you Ill tell numerous people about my unpleasant experience.  Always remember a customer is the lifeline of any business.
 

A Customer is the most important person in any business.
A Customer is not dependent on you.  You are dependent on her/him.
A Customer is not an interruption of work; she/he is the purpose of it.
A Customer does the business a favor when she/he comes in.
A Customer is part of the business-not an outsider.
A Customer is deserving of the most courteous and attentive treatment you can give them.
A Customer is the person who comes to business with his/her needs or wants.  It is that businesses job to fill them.
A Customer is the lifeblood of the business.  Without him/her the business would have to close their doorsDONT EVER FORGET IT!!!!!! ~Unknown
 
Business owners should not feel so empowered that they devalue their customers.  Any business weather it is small or a corporation, does not have the right to refuse a refund for services rendered.  We are paying for a product or service and if it is determined that the business fails to deliver in any capacity, we have a right to a refund.  I find it extremely distributing that businesses are allowed to deny refunds for bad products or services. There is not enough protection for consumers against corrupt businesses.  Just because it is a business establishment does not mean that their business practices are legitimate.  I work hard for my money and am highly offended when I am ripped off by way of voluntary contributions (taxes) or involuntary contributions.
 
Jacos Pizzeria business practices are unethical.  It was confirmed by an inside source that the owners do not only rip off customers, but employees and the government too. Jacos Pizzeria owner Robert Nye is no stranger to criminal activity.  In July of 2008 New York State Department of Taxation and Finance charged Robert K. Nye, with eight counts of offering a false instrument for filing and eight counts of filing false returns between March 1, 2006 and February 29, 2008.  It is alleged that Nye failed to report over $1.3 million in taxable sales resulting in a loss of more than $110,000 in sales tax receipts.  In December of 2009, Jacos Pizzeria Inc /Robert & Kimberly Nye were served with a lawsuit for illegitimate business practices.  Jacos Pizzeria (Robert K. Nye) has been the subject of NYS liquor authority investigations and many more.  There is pattern here...Robert K. Nye is not being accused of all of the above because he is an upright businessman.  He possess not a morsel of personal integrity, him and his business is extremely questionable.  He underreports his employee wages, cheat customers and defraud the State of sales tax revenue.  God only knows what other acts are being committed behind closed doors. 
 
If you are wondering how things worked out for methey didnt.  To date, Jacos pizzeria did not resolve my issue.  Jacos refuses to give me a refund, they insisted on sending over new wings the following day.  I outsourced Jacos to provide me with quality food in a timely manner April 1st the day I placed the order.  What is the point of ordering if they give you what they want you to have, when they want you to have it? When the wings arrived at my door April 2nd my garbage can greeted them.  I threw the old and new wings in the garbage and told the delivery guy to let the owner know that this is what I thought of their food, service and business as a wholeGARBAGE!!!!!  Unacceptable, I have a right to a refund for poor serviceThey cant make me eat trash. After everything Ive been through the thought of eating their food disgust me equally as much as the owners.  I dont know what type of business they are running; however, I am sure it will close soon.

I was hoping that this was a bad April fools jokeI expected to see Aston Kutcher jump from behind the bush with my order yelling You Got Punked Address him as Robber Lye instead of Robert NyeRobber Lye is more fitting.
