Complaint Review: Jacobs Twin Auto Plaza

Called me every day, several times a day, to get a vehicle, i was pre-approved. I explained to the woman, my credit wasn't good enough to buy a vehicle. She insisted i was pre approved, to come in and i didn't need any money down either. So I asked my boyfriend to take me there, 2 hours and 45 minutes one way. He agreed, i needed a vehicle, and they sounded earnest.

i sat in their office, for almost 6 hours, they found me a perfect vehicle. the whole time i was there, someone was screaming into the phone in the next room, and swearing like a sailor! i thought, do i not look like a lady? A nice man found my vehicle, had me leave two postdated checks, for 500.00 each. told me an easy way to get home.About 10 to 12 days later, they called and told me i had to return the vehicle, my financing wouldn't go through. Oh, but wait, they had to get me into a car with less miles and newwer year. so i waited several days, and heard nothing, then they called and said they couldn't produce a vehicle. I was to return it to them, i said, you need to come and get it, i dropped the insurance on it. The woman told me if i didn't return it that night, i was going to get arrested by my towns' police.

I was frantic, i called my lawyer, he said in no way was i to drive an uninsured vehicle, and they couldnt arrest me, i had a contract. They were going to have me arrested for grand theft auto. So i called the sales girl back, and told her what my lawyer said, and she magically said they would send someone to get it. The vehicle is in my driveway as we speak, i've left several messages to come and get it, and they won't return my calls! Now what? I have had the vehicle for a month on august 4th. Isn't posession 9/10's of the law?
