Jai* Appleseed's Appleseeds Women's clothing I ordered once online and charged it to my credit card. This company has been charging me monthly for quite a while a fee of $14.95 a month which is charged automatically. I did not knowingly sign up Beverly, Massachusetts
I purchased a clothing item from Appleseeds.com, charging the purchase to a Visa card. Since that time, my credit card has been charged a monthly fee of $14.95 to Jai*Appleseeds. The 866 number that is on the bill connects one to a computer which asks for account numbers. Since I did not sign up knowingly for this "rewards program", I do not have an account number. The computer then says " Good bye". Trying to dial zero for the operator or a human does not work. You get disconnected instantly.
If you order from this company, unless you read the fine print, you will be automatically signed up for this program. It is a recurring fee of $14.95 a month and is almost impossible to cancel. I had to change the account number on my Visa account in order to stop the charges.
Do not order from this company. It is legal but it is wrong to do this to customers who unknowingly do not unclick the box. It should be a choice to choose to belong to this program, not a automatic thing. I will never order from them again and recommend that you do not either.
