good sales man sell you a cable box guarantees will work, I got the cable card for my cable company, big mistake Don't pay by check you can't dispute it with your bank, Jay will not call you back, he will not give you an item return slip, stay away big scammer wish I did some home work before I called him, also ordered a box and sent a diffent one a cheaper one and the remote does not work it look like some had left the batteries in it and corroded inside

To start, all cable companies are required to let customers use the type of converters we sell (that take the CableCard). They are rated by the FCC as digital cable ready "plug & play".  These units are also approved by all cable TV companies, whether they want to admit it or not.

I'll start with your cable provider not activating the equipment we sent you.  If they didn't activate your equipment that is on them and not us, you should have filed a complaint with the FCC on your cable company but that's neither here nor there now.  Here is a PDF for the FCC Enforcement Agency explaining what the cable companies can and can't do and where to go to file a complaint: http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DA-11-1373A1.pdf

Secondly, we have started sending in testimonials of legitimate cable subscribers to the Colorado Attorney General so they can verify that our boxes do indeed work.  We would be working with the BBB as well but they require around $1,000 a year for upkeep and we don't feel the need to correct a bunch of "pole climber" complaints from years ago.  Unfortunately a lot of people used to purchase our boxes expecting to get free programming but our boxes simply don't do that and when they don't the "cable thief" gets very upset when he finds out he voided all his warranties, which would explain most of the complaints against our company.

Lastly, if you did indeed return your equipment and we haven't refunded you yet then please email us proof of the return and we will look into it (you can email us at cs@justaboutsavingmoney.com).  If we find that you did return your equipment and we haven't sent out your refund yet we will do so immediately.  Even if you are passed your money back guarantee we will still honor our Warranties & Disclaimers.

jam enterprises dba just about saving money has been screwing people for years. the bbb in denver has over 100 complaints, started a file in 2009 and has rated this company with an F(ratings are A+ to F). due to the amount of complaints and my making the AG aware they started working hand and glove with the bbb.

ripoff, scam and complaints sites ad an additional 247 to the 100.

the non working boxes are shipped from englewood but the home office is 1970 la bellezza grv, colorado springs, co 80919. the company is owned by jeff davis and home # 719 593 1240.

there are two (2) ways to get results. file a complaint with the internet crime complaint center. go to www.ic3.gov/defaultaspx and the englewood police 303 761 7410. they will take a report and give you a file number. in turn the report will be sent to the DA's office and then forwarded to the Attorney General. they are short on budget and need this information to proceed against Jeff Davis. there have be a lot of (both old and new).  complaints filed in the past two months. i have sent and received several emails from the AG and feel there is enought imformation to take the next step.
