Complaint Review: James B Webb- Webb Family Builders- Five Star Homes

Our story is similar to the people who purchased model home in Mustang Place in Forney, TX, We purchased a model home in River Oaks in Waxahachie, TX Oct. 2008. The agreement would be that they rent it back from us. When the development was done they would sell the model with the garage conversion. We never received rent.

We never had a chance to evict due to once we purchase the property, they moved everthing out. Leaving their files which included permits, specs, building plans, as well as customers personal and private information. So we are not able to sell the home and have no idea what to due next. I have been told by my realtor that the City of Waxahachie stated, the house couldn't be leased or sold due to it has never been signed off on an occupancy permit.

We feel voliated that it has happened to us, need to sell the house as soon as possible, but we are not sure how to go about doing so. If you have any information that could help us please advise.
