I gave over $100,000 to a realtor, whom I thought I could trust. I signed promissory notes with this realtor, who apparently transferred the money to James B Wolfe, who was running a company called Revenue Generation Technologies (RGT) in El Dorado Hills, CA. Wolfe also had ties to businesses and companies in and around Las Vegas, NV, as well as RGT.
Wolfe delayed in making good on the promissory notes when they were due. Actually, he boasted an unusually high rate of return, from 20% to 50%. It appears it was a Ponzi scheme from the start. Eventually, after stalling and not paying for three months, Wolfe closed his company and is not to be contacted. The realtor claims he cannot pay the loan to him, so I'm out $100,000.
The corporations were LLCs based in Nevada under a "corporate management" scheme. As such, it's not possible to identify the members or how the assets were distributed.
Wolfe apparently has a long history of defrauding people. I never met him directly, but it appears that I was led into this scheme via the realtor, and appear to have been robbed of my money.

Mr. James Wolfe needs to be stopped. Over the years he's been involved in many public and private business dealings ALL leading to people getting defrauded. He talks a very good game and always seems to be able to convince people that all of the postings about his criminal ways are a result of disgruntled people and former employees. NOT TRUE! He is indeed someone that needs to be watched and NOT trusted.
I just learned that he's now working as an Independent Affiliate of a company called Financial Education Services (FES) I will first admit that the company has no knowledge of his corrupt ways but rest assured Mr. Wolfe will find a way to swindle would be agents, new and existing agents out of money.
Lord and behold we found a public listing of a Facebook post that shows a picture of Mr. James Wolfe. For the sake of the innocent man pictured with the Con Man Wolfe. We isolated the picture and posted a link so you can identify this crook should you run intro him at a business meeting.
