Work Seven Hills Hardwood Flooring completed was substandard and yet we were charged $615.00. Circular sanding marks are visible across the grain of the floor in large patches along the length of 2 walls. These visible patches range in size from 6 x 8 inches to 6 x 16 inches. There are over 34 of these visible, improperly completed areas. The areas described should have been sanded out of the floor with the grain of the wood. Any sanding done to the floor should not be visible on the completed floor. A professional should not have left these large areas of incomplete work.

Seven Hills Hardwood Flooring was made aware of and given an opportunity to correct the problems and refused. Given these circumstances, our conclusion became that either the Seven Hills Hardwood Flooring was incapable of or unwilling to perform the work correctly. The entire floor will have to be completely re-sanded and refinished to correct the Seven Hills Hardwood Flooring's mistakes. Therefore, we do not believe we are liable for any payment to the Seven Hills Hardwood Flooring.

Also while sanding the floor James Bach d/b/a Seven Hills Hardwood Flooring damaged the joint of the baseboard heating element of our hot water heating system. We had to have a heating and air conditioning company repair the damage at a total cost to us of $117.07.
