James Brodick, comes off as a very believable individual with honors.
The truth is that Mr. Brodick has used the community for his own advantage.
Mr. Brodick has used my S.S # and has added me to the payroll but I have never shown up for service in Red Hook except for maybe one time.
Mr. Brodick was asking staff to sign time sheets, staff signed in fear of losing their jobs. Mr.Brodick waited for a while before even firing staff who signed off on time sheets for me and then other staff was rehired after leaving voluntarily in order for things to go unnoticed. AmeriCorps members from the underprivaleged neighborhood of Red Hook will not speak up because their lives depend on the stipends they recieve.
Mr Brodick has abused his authority quite often and has let community involved AmeriCorps members and low paid staff go only to hire friends and friends of based on race and how things can make him look good.
The community was fooled and told this was the Red Hook Community Justice Center.
I changed the name and I hope the community will speak up also. The Red Hook InJustice Community Center. It is a good place but some of the people that work their are as crooked as they come.

As the Director of Finance & Administration for the non-profit organization that runs the Red Hook Justice Center, I have reviewed our personnel files and no individual named Michael Clapp, the person who filed this report, has ever been employed by our agency.
Further, all hire and termination decisions undergo multiple layers of review including by personnel and legal departments. No single individual in our organization has the power to execute staffing decisions and all decisions are in strict compliance with the State and federal law.
The initial Rippoff report posted is completely unfounded; a hoax.
