Complaint Review: James Carter

 I wanted to purchase a French Bulldog and was contacted by a James Carter from Carigs List with a variety of pups for sale. He had a legitimate looking website (http://www.adorablepetsshome.com/) and even went so far as to speak with me on the phone and explain to me the whole process of purchasing a dog and shipping it to me. He instructed me to go to his Wells Fargo bank and make a deposit directly to his bank account which he pays his mortgage with... I withdrew the money, went into a physical location, asked the teller if the account was active and legit and he said yes, so I made the deposit.... Then he attempted to request more money from me because there was a problem with the shipping... That is when I realized it was a scam. I refused to pay additional money and told him I wanted to cancel and requested a refund. He stated he would and that he would send me back the money the next day.. When the next day came, his phone number was disconnected and he sent me an email laughing at me admiring to stealing my money....
