I was told everything was fine then to get a slap in the face after I had already faxed one assignment in and only had to complete one other one now all of a sudden I well have to pay all over again to finish this course.

I have been attending the James Madison High School College Preparatory Program and I am in my final 5 courses.  A normal high school takes 4 years, so what makes people think they can get through this program quickly and in 6 months?  It will have taken me 4 years to finish this program.  There is even Academic reviews, warinings and expulsions due to plagarism.

Quick degree?  Definitily not.  And those who realize this is not a quick degree, but an actual 4 year high school program are the ones who write negative reports about James Madison High School and feel they deserve their money back.

My story:  I was doing poorly in regular high school and asked my parents to let me be home-schooled.  My parents agreed and we contacted our school district which is very strict.  Each year my work must be analyzed by a teacher in my state and must be reported to the school district.    The district then sent us a list of Accredited on-line and home-schooling programs.  James Madison High School was one of those schools. My mother did research and did find the proper accreditations and called various colleges who responded they do accept the degree from this school.  This was also the only program on-line we would have to pay for, but it was a very structured program, which is what I wanted.   The program does include a High School Ring as well as a real High School Diploma (not on-line).  If you maintain a grade average above a 3.2, your High School Diploma will say Honor Roll Student as well.

In my third year, since cirriculums changed in the schools, there were 3 courses added to the College Preparatory Program. I DID NOT PAY EXTRA for these courses.

The teachers are very responsive and have chat days and everyone is very cooperative.

James Madison High School has been very fair.  My payments were up-to-date, but then we had financial difficult when the last payment came in.  My mother explained that we were in financial distress and could not make the final payment.  So, they worked with my parents and separated it into four small payments.

I believe the negative comments coming from people  who are looking for a quick degree without doing any studying.  When  they realize this is an actual 4 year high school structured program, with real high school text books, with lots of reading and studying, they then turn their negativity on the school.

I am 19 years old and am proud to be a James Madison High School Senior!
