This is only adding bull**** to the situation instead of resolving it.
If anyone goes to the Government arrest site you have PAY to get the reports!
One could just as easily go to Google and get it for free.
Nobody smokes anything, nor ever been arrested for it.
It's the internet, people call eachother names and can easily copy/paste info thats found on other sites and insert people's names.
It's called 'Internet Stalking' and is usually performed by persons who have no life.
Did you notice that the individual with the "Crack and Dog Fighting" comments has a very similar handle to the one that I have been using to post?
Just like my handle, but no 'huh' and a 123 added to it.
Obviously someone thinks they are funny and is trying to spout things are have nothing to do with us.

Yes, I came out and called another breeder a 'dog fighter' after I was harassed by them continuously for months on end. I am a FEMALE and felt threatened by a MAN stalking me on the internet. I am the only author and I am a woman.
A few of the posters keep referring to me, the author of this, as a HE.

Everyone that I spoke with over the internet has been told that they were dealing with me, a woman. You would think someone with a genuine report of wrongdoing would at least get the gender of whom they were dealing with.
I got strange emails from unknown address for months on end! My time was taken away from potential customers who truly intended to make a purchase.

Yes, I was upset with these individuals for what they did to me and thats why I lashed out on this website.
Now this is a mere 'turning tables' situation. I called them names after everything they did, now they are calling me and my spouse names and accusing us of actions we couldn't possibly have commited.

Did you see this person wrote that 'William' was arrested for dogfighting in 1998??
We are 25 and 22 years old! That would have made William 12 YEARS OLD in 1998!
Certainly too young for the above allegation. Not to mention, this is kindergarten stuff posted on the internet. Petty name calling and banter.

Go to Google and get the real story... you will see there isn't anything on us besides a stupid report filed on this site in retaliation.
Anyone who has purchased from us has been nothing short of satisfied, I am still in constant contact with my buyers, all of whom are fairly local.

I chose not to sell a dog to these people based on rudeness, vagueness then sneakiness. The emails I got are posted above.

Maybe I was a little harsh when I first came onto this website but I had been pushed over the edge. If Jamie Hatch from Maine hadn't been so insulting, mean and sneaky when he had his associate, Nicole, contact me, I wouldn't have felt compelled to do such a thing.
So everything is here, black and white. Anyone can go to Google and research our names and kennel..... The only thing that shows up is this fraudulent report.

I am a breeder who CARES, that's what got me into this mess in the first place!
All this because I told someone no, what does that say about the people who caused all this???

Please Google the Salem News paper and search for William Dean the writer of this report. Oh wait a minute his friend no...Hmm guess he cant make up his mind he is pretending to be both...lol Cant keep his stories straight?? well crack does that to ya. Today I did as promised and made a call to the police department responsible for Lubec, I was connected to the Sheriff's office and spoke to the deputy.
I wasn't calling to make a complaint, so to speak, but rather see what could be done in this situation.
I explained to the deputy that I was calling from out of state and what had happened regarding my puppies and the emails. I told him of my feeling so threatened by the individuals who were doing this that I filed a rip off report describing my experience with them.
The deputy actually knew what Rip Off report was and told me he had been here once himself for something different. He said it's a customer service site and if you felt you had a bad experience over the internet, that's what you can do.
I told the deputy about my family's information being found out and the threats to 'sue' me, he told me to ignore and not worry about it. He said that was just an attempt to scare me even further.
He said I was a private citizen running a private business over the internet and that I had done nothing wrong. I know what I have is a wonderful thing and this situation shouldn't get me down.
He also told me that my selling pups on pet contracts wasn't very uncommon anywhere. He had signed one when he purchased his own pet Labrador.
The deputy didn't blame me for requiring that of buyers.
He advised me to ignore any and all further contact and assured me that I wasn't in any trouble myself.
Thats all I could do, this was like Myspace stuff, he told me.
If any calls come in, ignore them.
If any emails come in, I 'd delete them.
If any letters get sent to our home either from or on behalf of any of the individuals, they will be refused and returned to their original sender.
As a result, I have abandoned my email account and will be changing all our phone numbers for our own protection.
The deputy didn't really seem bothered or worried by what had happened and told me there wasn't much that could be done. Different states and we had never met.
He did, however, instruct me that if anyone ever came to my property, by all means, call my local law enforcement agency and they'd take it from there.
I would think someone would waste a lot of time and gas to drive hours just to come yell at me. Thats what got us here in the first place, rudeness turned into nastyness. Then the making up addresses just to speak to me.
I wanted to let you know that the mystery lady, 'Shelly', I wanted to let everyone know. She's all of a sudden disappeared. Hasnt emailed since yesterday.
However, today I did get another email from a very vague address.
It was from Uncle Henry's and the address was a free Yahoo account.
The email was tonie.chai00@yahoo, just like 'Shelly's'.
I did as the deputy said and ignored it, I didn't bother responding.
Pretty weird one day after all this s**t hits the fan, I get another email from a vague address....enough already! I got rid of that email because I was so sick of everything that has stemmed from this!
I can't imagine if this 'Shelly' had actually scheduled a showing and came to my house. I wonder who would have shown up and terrified to think of what would have happened. I'm glad this stopped when it did.
But anyways, I've gotten rid of everything on account of this, it's the best thing I can do to ensure the safety of my family and dogs.
I have had to wipe the slate clean.
All I can say is if I hadn't been made to feel afraid and uncomfortable I wouldn't have lashed out like this in the first place. I did what I felt was right as I was being watched and followed via the internet.
I will not be placing anymore ads in the Uncle Henry's catalog anymore, there is no way I'm gonna be going through this type of run-around EVER AGAIN.
My happy customers and word-of-mouth positive feedback speak for themselves and in the end, that's all that matters to me....

Okay, hold on a minute. There's some major miscommunication going on here.
There's a lashing out, an explanation that has nothing to do with it and then a testimonial from a friend.
Hang on a minute here. We need to backtrack just a second.
Do we all realize we're arguing out of state right now??
No one on my end has any ties to Maine whatsoever.
You see, I am a breeder from New Hamshire. I own and raise American Pitbull Terriers with my spouse. We keep to ourselves, we mind our business.
Needless to say no one in my household has ever sought to purchase an English Bulldog or any other breed from Mr. Hatch nor anyone else. All we own are pitbulls.
What started all this was an email from Jamie Hatch to me, an out-of-state breeder, which I am choosing to share here.
These are the real emails exchanged between Jamie Hatch and myself. You can be the judge of them. I never knew of Jamie Hatch at all beforehand.
Below you will see the reason for my feelings on certain things via the actual emails exchanged between Hatch and I.

His first email to me was very vague. As you could see, he said minimal words and when I responded, I asked a question in the same vague way. I asked an honest question.
I had seen the email address and went to the English Bulldog site. I saw a few wrinkly bullies and the Papillons, but there was a 5 year old female English Bull Terrier female Jamie was advertising as UNSPAYED for $500.
I was curious as to what he wanted a pitbull for, there was no picture of any pitbull on that website.

Mr. Hatch had no reason to be that rude to me. I was in no way rude to his enquiry and I feel I was more than fair and explanitory in my responses to Hatch.
I was polite and even continued to call him Sir after he insulted my dogs like that.
I thought another breeder would UNDERSTAND something like that!! I wasn't expecting him to be so mean! If I were in his shoes and I were asking another breeder about a breeding dog, I would address them properly, explain who I was and my experience, then relay my proposal for purchasing a breeding dog. I would want the other person to be comfortable selling me a dog, I pass that same respect to all my own satisfied customers.
I became upset with Mr. Hatch when he insulted me so I gave it back to him a little. I was insulted and frustrated! I could have said alot worse!
Instead I merely stated how I felt as far as dealing with him after that remark!
You know, if I had been told by another breeder that I couldn't breed a dog purchased from them, I would listen to their reasons WHY!
Chances are it's not to be mean, there is a reason for it!
Some people have exclusive lines, dogs, awards, all kinds of great things that they wish for their name to be attached to. Is it so wrong to want your name to remain unblemished in the dog world???
I wasn't telling Hatch he was a bad breeder at all!! All I was saying is I'd like to keep our name pure! He could have respected my answer.
Hatch stopped contacting me after the last message.
And I went back to minding my own business.
Weeks go by with no further contact from Hatch, until I posted a new ad in the Uncle Henry's.
Hatch's 'friend' or whatever, Nicole Cline, emails me from her personal account.
I recall her email looking very familiar, but I still treated Ms. Cline with respect nonetheless.
I treat every inquiry with the decency and respect people deserve, I make my judgement afterwards.
I exchanged a few emails with Nicole Cline and when I stopped hearing back from her, I entered her email address in GOOGLE and found she was in fact part of Luv-A-Bull Kennel.
I had turned down Hatch and now SHE contacts me asking about puppies??? That's weird. So I asked Ms. Cline to explain herself.

So yes, I did ask if they were dog fighters and I called them a puppy mill, after what Nicole did to try to get a dog for Jamie from me, can you honestly blame me for saying what I said and thinking those thoughts????
From posting in the Uncle Henry's, it said if you were from Maine, you needed to provide your breeders number. I didn't see one on the site, so I questioned.
I also Googled the Platinum Blue Ice dog and nothing came up.
Curious, I called the UKC the next day and they couldn't find anything on this dog.
I was never sent any pictures from Hatch nor any pedigree copies. It was a weird situation that I was thrust into.

As I said above, Nicole never responded, and she openly lied to me in her emails.
So after I was finished with Nicole, I filed the rip-off report, but after everything that I went through with these people, can you BLAME ME at that point???
I was minding my own business trying to find loving homes for my pups and these people wouldn't take NO for an answer!
So time goes by and I posted a 3rd ad with Uncle Henry's last Thursday.
Earlier in the week, I was contacted by a woman called "Shelly".
This 'woman' (and you see why I'm using quotes in a second!) contacted me regarding pups. I was professional and happy to assist her, however I did get a weird feeling about her email.
It was a free Yahoo account and it wasn't attached to any documents on Google or a Myspace profile.
I proceded with caution.

I actually sold a pup to a gentleman in Berwick who owns a cat, and yes, the dog gets along fine with the kitty. :-) The man had called and asked if it would be possible for a pitbull to be raised with a cat. I told him as long as proper socialization measures are carried out, there is no reason the dog and the cat cannot live together.That man is a happy customer and called to report the pup being great with his cat soon after his purchase.I owned two cats and a pitbull together when I lived in XXXXXXX, so I can honestly say, yes it can be done.We do not have any cats here, but I do own a guinea pig and handle her around the puppies. They know to respect what's in 'Grandma's' hands :-).Our puppies are more socialites rather than having a high prey drive. I would reccomend a baby gate during the intro period, you could get one on Freecycle easily, that way if the cat feels stressed at first, he or she can simply hop over the gate to escape.
I'm not sure where Brunswick is, is it closer to the Canadian border as opposed to New Hampshire??? How far is Brunswick from Berwick??I look forward to speaking with you tonight and hope you have a great day.

I think either male I still have available would be fine with the cat. The larger male is the 'strong, silent type', and might not pay any attention to the cat whatsoever.My other male would probably try to make friends with the cat, he is a curious little guy but he's a wimp so the cat could make the boundaries. :-)My reason for asking if you were close to Canada is because pitbulls are banned in Canada now. :-( I had a couple weird people from Lubec (I think thats how it's spelled.) Maine and they lied to me and claimed to be from Canada. They should have looked into their research before saying they were from Canada, I know all too well that the pitbull isn't welcome there. They were THAT desperate to get a dog from me, they resorted to lying.With specializing in this breed and color, you can imagine some of the weirdo's I got contacting me about them! I'll hold onto them until the right people come along, it's not worth not being able to sleep at night.

After I got this message from 'Shelly', I realized my cell phone wasn't working properly, so I sent 'Shelly' a message giving her my home phone number.
She said she was going to be calling and I wanted her to have a number that worked at the moment.
So this is my message to 'Shelly':

Hi Shelly, I wanted to reach you to let you know that my cell phone isn't working right now for some reason, if you'd like, you can call our home number: xxx-xxx-xxxx My husband, XXX, will be home after 5pm, so if he answers, he'll be happy to chat with you about the dogs and pups.If noone answers, just leave a message and we'll be happy to call you back.I just didn't want you to be left hanging if you called my cell and got a fax machine noise!Hehe. I then went into work that afernoon.

'Shelly' never wound up calling, but when I got home that evening, 7/31/08, I was greeted by an email by JAMIE HATCH in my inbox proudly displaying my personal information!!!
This included my full name, my husband's full name, our address and our home phone number.
I began to think that 'Shelly' was actually Hatch.
Rip-Off report does NOT hand out personal information, Hatch claimed he got my info from the I.P. address.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that my home phone number, once obtained by Hatch was entered in a site like whitepages.com and my info came up.
I thought 'Shelly' was a potential customer and it's possible Hatch or someone affiliated with Hatch made up an email address just to talk to me.
When I logged in today, August 1st 2008, there was NO response from Shelly, no apology for her not calling me.
I beleive Hatch was behind this. Look at the chain of events.
So I have been here, in my own state of New Hampshire, trying to find homes for my babies and my time is being wasted by someone who won't take NO for an answer!
And I also ALWAYS provide a phone number in my ads for people to call me.
Hatch, Nicole nor 'Shelly' ever bothered to use the phone number, they only contacted through email.
I have never been stalked on the internet before, when I opened up that email and found my information, I began to fear for me and my family's lives, Hatch didn't stop when I turned him down, what makes me think he'll stop now???
Last time I checked, harassment and stalking over the internet was ILLEGAL. Why would Jamie Hatch keep carrying on like this??? If he is someone with a name to carry and a kennel to run, why did he resort to all this trouble and immaturity?
Seriously, why people??????
I have kept all my email correspondance with Hatch and his associates, so if I had to go to court for whatever reason, I have proof that I respectfully turned Hatch down and he wouldn't leave me alone. I will be calling to file a harassment complaint as well in case anything happens further.

If I ever hear of anything like this ever again. I will not be giving a warning. I will just file a report. I liked how you tried to write it from a 3rd party stand point, but you made a few mistakes "nice try". But Guess you didnt "research" me like you thought you did. Have a nice day.



In my defense, I wouldn't have filed that report if I didn't feel so threatened and unsafe. Had Mr. Hatch walked away, none of this would have happened.
All I can say if he must have REALLY wanted to get a dog from me if he went through all this trouble for it.
I can't take this report down and part of me feels I shouldn't have to, look at everything he did to me. He could have left me alone! Don't you agree???
So now you have my side of this whole thing, does it make the situation make more sense???
Like I said before, I'm not a disgruntled customer, I was approached by Hatch FIRST and look at all the trouble that was caused for me.
So in conclusion, Hatch has came on here and spouted nonsense, there's no mention of him owning a pitbull in his response to the rip-off report. THATS where I got the suspicion of dog fighting from, NOT his English Bulls! I never accused him of fighting any English Bulldogs. I came to the 'puppy mill' assumption when I saw the managerie of breeds on his site but NO pics of him interacting with his dogs, nor any pictures of his property.
When I asked Nicole (and yes, I did phrase it as a question) she never confirmed nor denied the allegation, instead sent a lying response.
You have everything here, black and white and clear as crystal.
Look what happened that caused this report to get filed in the first place.
I didn't deserve to be harassed over the internet and my time wasted on people who weren't who the claimed to be. I have a job to do and Hatch greatly interfered with that when he put me through the above.
Lastly, I'd like to take a moment to say that the first report was filed late at night because I was up with insomnia from stress! After going through all that email crap, I was exhausted and exasperated! If you must know, I don't even consume alcohol, I like gourmet coffees, so that druggy drunk comment was uncalled for.
I'm a polite person who will provide a dog to the right people, and as you see, I will turn people down sometimes, but I have my reasons and do explain them.
Why did Jamie Hatch have to pursue me so much? Why couldn't he have just gone to the next ad in Uncle Henry's for pitbull pups and left me alone???
It really makes me wonder.
I never meant any harm to anyone, but look at all the harm that was done to me.
I won't be lisiting my pups in the Uncle Henry's anymore because of this!
That's exposure I won't be able to get in the future because I am afraid for my pups' wellbeing. This has been such a horrific experience for me, I never want to be put in this position EVER again.
I am an honest breeder who was unfairly stalked and tracked down online.
This entire situation could have been avoided if Hatch had simply respected my wishes and understood my reasons. We could have became friends and perhaps even co-owned a dog together in the future. Just because I turned him down didn't mean I didn't want to get to know him and possibly become a friend.
Now we'll never know because Hatch never wanted to treat me respectfully.
I am spent and wish not to be contacted by Hatch or anyone associated with him ever again.
Now you have my side. Put yourself in my shoes!

I know personally Captain Hatch of Maine Department of Marine Resources.I have been to his house and kennel on numerous occasions. His kennel facility is the cleanest kennel I have ever seen. He has excellent quality, healthy bulldogs. I know people who have purchased puppies from him before and were very satisfied. For someone to say that he is a dog fighter or a puppy mill is absolutely ridiculous. I also noticed that the report was filed at 1 am. Returning home from the bar? I can say in all confidence that Captain Hatch has excellent facilities, He is a professional breeder and would never do what he is being accused of.

First off I dont even know who this is, Yes I do breed English Bulldogs and Nicole breeds papillon, Im sorry but have you even seen a bulldog with enough energy to be a fight dog....lol Guess he dosent know his breed, and second In Maine you have to display your kennel license in your kennel not on your web site but just so you know my kennel license # is f-680. I have also scored 100-out of 100 on ever kennel inspection! And The animal control offcer is my next door neighbor.

I have the cleanest kennel in the state a that is always open to the public to visit at any time. and I pride myself in that. Also what is he talking about bullterrier and such. sorry only bulldogs and papillons here. The only person i think this could be is their was a person from New Hampshire that came here and wanted a bulldog puppy, the first thing they asked me was how to make it ugly? i was like what do you mean? and they responded well how i can i make it attack someone if they come thorw my door, I responded and said well you can walk out my door i will not sell you one of my pups. they got mad at me and said I have cash im talking the pup, I told them to leave now. and they went on and on swearing and carring on as they were leaving.

Guess they are mad I dont sell my pups to just anyone, I care alot about my pups and make sure they go to good homes. And yes I do refuse to sell my pups to various people all the time. But this is no way to over react and make up stories, I will be hiring a Lawyer and sueing the for defamation of charater.And yes my phone# is listed on my ads and web site, for anyone to call..Man this sound like some doped out druggy....who gonna pay my lawyer well
