Jane Beatty & Company $1805.00 in T-shirts ordered and promised by 5/1/07 and no shirts printed or shipped as of 9/13/07 Boca Raton Florida
In February we got a fax in regards to t-shirts for $2.75 no screen charges and no printing fees. Anne was very helpful and called us multiple times to make sure they had the artwork correct. Anne even sent us a sample shirt to see the quality and color of the shirt. I was so impressed with her I did two orders. One totaling $870.00 the other totaling $935.00. I was contacted by the Finance Department and was told they were sending us a DHL envelope and we were to send a check to get our shirts on the production board. Both checks were cashed within 3 days of the company receiving them. I had expressed my concern about getting the shirts before our season started in May; I was told that would be no problem.
By June I had made several attempts to reach someone and no one could return my calls. I then started e-mailing, faxing, and calling on a daily basis. I did get a few e-mails back but they were very conflicting. One stating the shirts were close to done, another a few days later saying we are starting your shirts in a few days. I even received two e-mails saying they were ready to ship expect them in a few days and the next day a e-mail stating the shirts have just started production.
No one at the company will return a call. They will send an e-mail about computers down and other orders pushed ahead of ours and staff illness leaving no one in the office available for a return call.
The fact that no one can give us a straight answer or even the common courtesy of a return phone call is uncalled for. I have already filed a claim with the Florida BBB and I will be filing a claim with eth Florida Attorney General Bill McCullum. They have started a civil investigation case number L07-3-1071.
This was a very valuable and expensive lesson learned.
