I will attempt to keep this as brief as possible while including all of the major facts. I began a "business relationship" with Jane Repinski (uses the company name of JJ Sales or will soon be going by "Wholesale Products Inc." from my understanding) in late Jan/early Feb 2007 after seeing iPod lots available for sale on ebay. Delivery was promised in 2-3 weeks. I did not receive these iPods until approximately two months later and was given the usual excuses (shipment lost, delivery problems, supplier's fault, etc.) but nevertheless, eventually did receive most of this first order (probably because I paid most of it via credit card and was threatening a chargeback).

My biggest mistake was placing a second order with her. This order consisted of 95 30 GB Apple iPods and 25 80 GB iPods, as well as 12 4 GB Apple iPhones for which she claimed to have an exclusive contract to get these to me before they came out, that they were unlocked, etc.

Things started okay and I did eventually receive 60 of the 30GB iPods. However, things started to get suspicious towards the end of May/beginning of June 2007 when - despite original delivery promises of 1-2 weeks - I had not received the remainder of my order, compounded by the fact that it started to become incredibly difficult to get in contact with this woman via telephone or e-mail. First I was told that her son was very sick, of which I was skeptical but gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then I was told that my order had been lost by FedEx but she was NEVER able to provide me with a tracking number or even proof of shipping, which leads me to believe that this was a blatant lie.

After continually promising me during the month of June that "the products would arrive to her the next day" and would be overnighted to me, I never received the remainder of my order. Two weeks ago I finally requested a refund and basically have been unable to get in touch with her since. After providing her ample time to respond, I have gotten in touch with my lawyer and we have decided to pursue this matter via a civil lawsuit. We will be suing for $18,194 (total amount paid for outstanding items) as well as damages as this point, which will significantly aument this total.

Jane Repinski is a dishonest businesswoman and should not be trusted in any circumstance. Not only does she have almost $20,000 of my hard-earned money, but she has caused me significant stress, both financially and otherwise, and will be held accountable in a court of law. Do yourself a favor and AVOID Jane Repinski/JJ Sales/Wholesale Products Inc.

I am sorry to hear that you got ripped off by Jane Repinski (JJ Sales) as well. I would like to note that finding an attorney in the area is easy and there is a list of attorneys you can find in both Mosinee, Wisconsin and Stevens Point, Wisconsin (Where Jane reportedly lives). Just put in a search in google. You will probably need a personal injury attorney. Anyway, an update on how your case is going would be and/or any other information about your experiences with this fraudulent woman would be greatly appreciated. Please educate the community.

August 22nd and STILL NO REFUND

After filing this report more than a month ago and contacting Jane Repinski in order to give her one last opportunity to provide me with a refund, she seemed to make herself more available and seemed to want to put this situation behind us and move forward. My lawyer and myself were just about to move forward with a civil case against her but I wanted to give her the ability to resolve this situation in an amicable manner. Unfortunately to this date I have not received even one cent of the refund due to me of $18,194 and I am afraid that I will have to continue my legal action against her.

It is LAW that if a company does not have stated delivery terms in the agreement of purchase, they must deliver the promised goods within 30 days or refund the buyer (if of course he/she has not agreed to further delays). In this case, I have obviously NOT AGREED to delays but Ms. Repinski continues to contend that it is her responsibility to refund me only once she has received the goods or a refund from her mysterious supplier (which now seems to be one of those scams that she came across on the Internet and didn't check out well enough before ordering, as she and other individuals have themselves filed "RipOff Reports" against this company called Smart Buyz). I guess that she does not understand the concept that I ordered directly from her - without any previous knowledge of her supplier or where she was getting these products - and hence my order/my refund is her responsibility and only hers and is not correlated whatsoever to her problems with another entity.

I am very disappointed because I do not believe that Jane Repinski was planning to defraud me from the get go (I know that she has other customers involved as well) but instead has engaged in atrocious business practices that have become nothing less than fraudulent. I have been nothing more than super patient in giving her more than 4 months to rectify the situation but I will no longer continue to wait for her to take her sweet time in doing so.
