Nothing here yet in the Rip-Off reports, but a search on Google (NEW HOPE LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL) finds 207 hits and although I didn't look at anything more than the first page of hits, this is an identity theft process according to those on the first page. Janet Freiburg apparently uses different email addresses too as seen in those pages. Below is a copy of the email I received:

Your e-mail address attached to ticket number: 27511465896-6410 with Serial number 4204-777 drew lucky numbers 5-21-23-34-61-72 which consequently won in the 1st category. You have therefore been approved for a lump sum pay out of 2,500,000 (EUROS)(Two MILLION, Five hundred thousand EUROS)

Note that all participants in this lottery program have been selected randomly through a computer ballot system drawn from over 200,000 companies and 30,000,000 individual email addresses from all search engines and web
sites.

I recieved a similar email a little over a month ago but from a purported Las Vegas place that was along the same lines ... supposedly won a lottery I never entered for the really big bucks. Genuine lottery winnings of this size would come with a lot more than a simple email.
