Jannette Teston is a scam artist. She starts up websites on either free webspaces or online marketplaces such as eCrater and ePier. She uses an assortment of items to attract buyers, ranging from videogames (watch out for her Nintendo Wii deals) to clothing and perfume. She holds up the front of small family business. She accepts the transaction, takes your money, and then never ships you an item. She ceases all communication and becomes impossible to get a hold of. She hopes that most people just give up. If the buyer files a complaint through a website or something, she will remain invisible as long as she can. She either lets the credit card company (or services such as Paypal) foot the bill, or she will promise a refund. She then either never gives a refund, or takes a long time doing it.

My experience with her began when I tried to purchase a Nintendo Wii. She was polite, promised to send it to me soon. 2 weeks went by, and she didn't return my emails. I finally found information on her online. I called her home phone (after dialing several disconnected numbers). I talked to her daughter, and then when I asked for her, I was hung up on. I have filed complaints with IC3, Better Business Bureau, Paypal, eCrater, and other agencies. I would be interested in bringing forth criminal charges against her, since she insists on continually doing this. I gave her many opportunities for her to honestly return my money, but she refuses to make contact.

She is a dishonest person, and will try to take your money. Don't respond to her threats of "bringing forth charges" or her "contacting her attorney." If she had a real attorney, I would be talking to him not her. She is just trying to scare people away, because she knows that she is COMPLETELY in the wrong and will do all she can to avoid the penalties. She is a bottom-feeder, and survives off of other people having genuine trust in an open marketplace.
